I did this painting
earlier in the year (2006) while at the Dachshund Club of America National
specialty show from a photo shared with
me by a
doxie person. This little fellow, a black and tan mini wire is sitting so
nicely..... but look at his eyes. The wheels are definitely turning in his
head and he is ready for some action. This watercolor is on a quarter sheet
so image size is 10 1/2" x 14 1/4". It didn't fit entirely on my scanner so
on the original, there is more space around the dog and all of his feet are
showing.
