Study for Gate on McGregor

I did this one way back in 2003 in preparation for a larger painting I call Gate On McGregor. The scene is in Fort Myers, Florida near the Edison home. The lush tropical foliage was perfect for using a pouring technique. The larger version won the "Best in Show" award at the Sanford Brush and Palette show that year.
